Revealing the shocking truth behind climate change and endangered animals

Endangered Antartic Penguins

Penguins have a normal diet of only fish and can only be found in Antarctica. Due to human actions it's warmer than it used to be - meaning that some of the ice is melting. penguins are used to a much cooler climate. Climate changing and global temperatures rising results in the ice caps melting. This makes it increasingly hard for the penguins to survive. Animal charities are concerned that if it keeps getting warmer and we do not change, penguins could die out very soon due to the heat.

Polar Bears

Polar bears are only found in the Artic regions of Russia, Greenland, Norway, Alaska and Canada. They are very strong swimmers and will swim 60 miles just to get to food. Due to rising temperatures, the Artic ice has started to melt at a disastrous rate. Polar bears are found to swim out into open seas to find food. Their journeys put them under threat of exhaustion, hypothermia or being swamped by waves. The drownings, are having a huge effect on the numbers of Polar Bears. Their numbers have dropped by 22% since the 1980’s.
